The CAC.8 calls for extended abstracts in the following categories:
Long papers include in-depth discussion of research projects, experiences, practices, and programs.
If accepted, the length of the paper is between 5.000 and 7.000 words (spaces and bibliography included).
Short papers introduce on-going research that combines arts, sciences, humanities, and technologies.
If accepted, the length of the paper is between 2.500 and 3.500 words (spaces and bibliography included).
Artwork submissions can be new and original works in digital or material format. The accepted pieces will be exhibited at the Convention Center of the Karakachoff Building at UNLP. Artists are responsible for the shipping and installation, with assistance of local volunteers. Typical accepted formats: installations, sculptures, textiles, performances, videos, sound, print images, VR/AR/XR, web-based, robotic-art.
Consider that current voltage in Argentina is 220 V, A/C socket is type I and C.
Workshops can take place during the congress or prior to the academic program. When it is justified, and in accordance with CAC.8, special workshops can be part of the congress at different dates and places.
A dedicated session of demos will be organized during the academic program. Presenters will show their work on-stage and will have a dedicated space at the venue to facilitate the exchanges with the public and other participants.
